ABOUT ME
Emma Hagert (she/her) is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and MA candidate at Parsons School of Design, specializing in media development and filmmaking. She holds a foundation in journalism and film from Boston University, where she began crafting narratives across both nonfiction and fiction.
Her professional experience includes reporting for ABC News, The Boston Globe Newton, and internationally on The Pat Kenny Show at Newstalk FM in Dublin, Ireland. She most recently worked as a production intern at Greenpoint Pictures.
Emma is committed to using her journalism background and ongoing graduate studies to develop socially conscious films.
